Nobody's Posted for AGES!

Haha... let me tell you guys a funny story.

So, a few days ago before school there is a grouping of people deciding what to do as a blog topic. of course, I had better things to do so I just, you know, improvised an excuse and left, told them to tell me later. Well, in the end, no one gave me shit and guess what?  NOBODY'S POSTED A BLOG IN ABOUT 2 WEEKS!

The last most was acutally... MY POST.

So I'm going to write an entry about WHATEVER THE HELL I WANT today.

Today I'm going to talk about THE ORIGINS OF EASTER just because it happens to be Easter weekend.

For starters, I'm Atheist, and I can get easily stressed by the Catholic/Judeo-Christian religion due to the ENORMOUS amounts of discrimination they have inflicted throughout the centuries and history and whatsoever. It seriously ticks me off. Of course, this is my opinion, which doesn't mean it's true. I'm just a very, VERY open person who hates discrimination to the point where I discriminate discriminators, and openly admit it to top it all off.

So the origins of Easter (just as Christmas, and Halloween, and almost every other holiday celebrated by the Catholic church) IS PAGAN.

Well, actually, Easter is polythiest because it was celebrated by many polythiest cultures world wide, since it was the celebration of the spring equinox, which is a cientific explantion of the Earth tilting it's axis towards or away from the sun, and this happens twice a year, and one of these times a year is the 3rd week of April.

The ancient Pagans celebrated this to give cult to their mother goddess, who's name goes along the lines of Eostre and Eastre (which evidently transformed itself into Easter, if you look at the spelling). It was celebrated by German and Saxon tribes, and the holiday represents rebirth, therefore using the image of an egg. The eggs were painted to represent the colours of spring, where flowers bloomed.  The rabbit/bunny/hare or whatever you'd like to call it was a symbol for fertility, since it was a mammal which gave multiple births.

Other celebrations of the Spring equinox with similar standards are Aphrodite from ancient Cyprus, Ashtoreth from ancient Israel, Astarte from ancient Greece, Demeter from Mycanae, Hathor from ancient Eygpt, Ishtar from Assyria, Kali from India and Ostara a Norse Godess of fertility.

So, thank you for reading up on a bit of history, it's good to talk to you all.

Happy Easter everyone, eat lots of chocolate!

Just Sleep... The hardest part, the awful things that I've seen

MCR is on the title for today, because they are epic.

Sorry for no writing last week... but I was having a shithole of a week and I REALLY don't think you wanted to hear from me. Also because I wrote this really long kind of depressing entry and it all erased before my eyes and I got pissed so I said "SCREW THE BLOG" and yeah... it all went down to shit last week... sorry about that.

But enough on my personal problems. Due to last week's total emotional breakdown, I would like to, once again, thank My Chemical Romance, for being there for me when life is shit. I always happen to find a song by them that can somehow metaphorically fits into my life... and then again it's the only thing that can stop the rivers flowing down my face... so thanks MCR, you're my only light in my darkest hours.

For the theme of the week, ELECTIONS. Now this year is really fucked up, I must say. Especially because one of the guys running for president (Ollanta Humala), who is in first place, will probably cause many problems for the peruvian economy if he is president, he will TRY to start wars (please congress save us from disaster), and yeah, he's an American-hater so my mom's going to have a tough time in her job and we might even end up moving... but ONLY if things go badly.

I have to say, if I voted it would definately be for PPK (Pedro Pablo Kuccynski) because, well, besides being my parent's friend, and his daughter being a childhood friend of mine (like when i was 8), he's a very educated man and could do good for the country. Even though people say he won't win... I still have high hopes he has victory.

Well, I'll keep my blog brief because I'm tired and I want to SLEEP.

But to end this, I would like to type up a part of SLEEP by MCR, so enjoy, because it's too sexy for you. It's too sexy for the world, mother fuckers! HELL YES!

A drink for the horror that I'm in
For the good guys and the bad guys
For the monsters that I've been
Three cheers for tyranny
Unapologetic apathy
'Cause there's no way that I'm coming back again

And through it all
How could you cry for me?
'Cause I don't feel bad about it
So shut your eyes
Kiss me goodnight
And sleep... just sleep
The hardest part: the awful things that I've seen

[Sometimes...I see flames... Sometimes... I see people that I love dying... it's always...]

THE HARDEST PART IS LETTING GO OF YOUR DREAMS.

God dammit this song is so deep <3  YOU HAVE TO LOVE IT!

VLODA

I think countries only suffer due to two great tragedies: war and elections. I guess that's pretty harsh to say, but from what I think, it's the truth.
Okay so we've five potential presidents here: Ollanta, Toledo, Keiko, Kuzcynski and Castañeda. First of, just by taking a glance at their names, does that really sound of Peru to you? I'm not being xenophobic or anything, it's just that most of those (okay, maybe just two) are foreign names. And there are some xenophobics out there, and they won't even consider the fact that PPK would be a really good president, just because he has an american nationality.
Whatever, after the presidential debate, I don't really think he will stand a chance. Not that he was bad or anything, it's just that he's way too low on the surveys, and he will never be able to win over Humala.
So, I think that if I did vote, my vote would most certainly go to Toledo. He's second on the surveys, and most people think he might do a good job if he does get elected.
Now for both Keiko and Castañeda, they can both go to hell. Castañeda will definitely NOT get to second round, and Keiko doesn't have a plan, expect for freeing her daddy.
Whatever, politics generally make me wanna argue and I don't really need to argue over that.

So, going on to something else... even though this has nothing to do with this week's topic, I'd like to say that I'm starting VEDA (more like VLODA, really) tomorrow :D
VEDA, for those non-internet-nerds out there, means Vlog Every Day (in) April. Not August, April. I don't think I'll bea able to do it EVERY DAY, but I'll try... Although I might end up doing VLODA (Vlog Lots Of Days in April).

Well, it was fun talking to ya'

The Supah-Dupah in-the-house-f*cking-awesome Triple Post

Hello there!
Readers, hold on tight. Maybe you realized that I didn't post last week, and that my post of the previous week was incomplete. Well, its time for the Supah-Dupah in-the-house-f*cking-awesome Triple Post today, LOL.
Indeed, in this entry I will post The Top 5 Best Movies Ever, last week's entry and this week's entry. Don't worry folks, even though this WILL be long, remember it should have been posted in 3 different entries, so don't stress.

Moving on to the week previous to the one before:
Top 10 Best Movies Ever

You might remember the 10 to 6 list, you don't? You do? Anyway I will remind you...
10. Wall-e
9. Fast & Furious (Series)
8. Star Wars Prequel Trilogy
7. Star Wars Original Trilogy
6. The Terminator

Further information on those on my previous post. Anyway, those were awesome movies which you should have seen by now otherwise you are missing out a little detail called life.
Think about this: If those movies were awesome, what will come up next?
Simple, even more kick-*ss movies. And moving on...

#5
Genre: Action/War
Director: Riddley Scott
Type: Movie
Title: Black Hawk Down
"No one gets left behind, you know that."

If you like war movies then you have to love this one. When 123 elite troops are sent and a few make it back, you know something big has happened. Read the title, any idea? Well, it's tag lines reads: "Leave no man behind". The movie is about them trying f*cking hard and giving everything to make that possible. Heroic movie, really good, haven't seen it? Go watch it.

#4
Genre: Action/War
Director: Steven Spielberg
Type: Movie
Title: Saving Private Ryan

The Statue of Liberty is kaputt? That's disconcerting...

Are you that type of people that cry in movies? You'll do in this one. Probably the most heroic movie of all time, these troops were on a mission: rescue James Ryan, the fourth son of a mother whose other three children had died in war, her husband died too (don't worry, he didn't die because of war).
As I remember...
Capt. Miller: I am here to tell you your brothers died in war.
Pvt. Ryan: Which... which ones sir?
Capt. Miller: All of them.

A super director, super actors, this movie is a total success. Winning 5 academy awards and being nominated to a total of 11, you can't say this is one of the best ever filmed movies ever.

#3
Genre: Action/War/Sci-Fi
Director:
Jonathan Liebesman
Type: Movie
Title: Battle: LA (aka World Invasion: Battle LA)
"Sh*t, I'd rather be in Afghanistan."

I believe the only reason why this one is above all other war movies in my list is because it is also Sci-Fi. Even though, this movie is just the most epic human vs. alien war. What can I say? Just watch it, you wont regret, this is like a CoD: Modern Warfare 2 scenery (though in LA) with super f*cking bad*ss aliens that want to steal our water. This is a must see. By the way, this is the most modern movie of my list.
Strange looking aliens colonizing the world which get *ss-kicked by a platoon of US Marines. No more to say.

#2
Genre: Action
Director: Steven Spielberg
Type: Tetralogy? (Trilogy + Another movie)
Title: Indiana Jones
"We do not follow maps to buried treasure and X never, ever marks the spot."

Brilliant, simply brilliant. The one and only fictional adventure movie that is worth everything. Steven Spielberg strikes again with this trilogy. A macro-cool anthropologist (did I spell that right?) that searches for amazing stuff like a golden box that when opened a f*cking storm (with a tornado!) comes out and sucks everyones souls in it. Some people like to call that the Lost Ark, but I think that's quite a boring name, I would rather call it: THE GOLDEN SOUL-SUCKING BOX THAT-IS-SO-F*CKING-AMAZING-MY-BROTHER-NEARLY-PISSED-HIS-PANTS-WHEN-HE-SAW-IT.
Must see, totally. Harrison Ford's best role, or well, maybe Han Solo was better, but he didn't star the movie.

#1, now, what movie made it to the top knowing that it's a long way to the top if you wanna  Rock n Roll to be be at the top of this list.
Genre: Sci-Fi/Comedy
Director: Robert Zemeckis (and the executive producer was the genius Steven Spielberg)
Type: Trilogy
Title...
BACK TO THE FUTURE
"If my calculations are correct, when this baby hits eighty-eight miles per hour... you're gonna see some serious sh*t."

A serious thing I have to say: This movie is f*cking great.
Marty McFly: Then where the hell *are* they?
Dr. Emmett Brown: The appropriate question is, "*When* the hell are they?"
I mean, put a DeLorean, a cool teenager, a mad scientist, time travel, and funny sh*t in one movie. It is guaranteed it is epic great. Am I wrong? DON'T ANSWER. No, I am not wrong. My favorite movie by far.
This dude, Marty McFly (Jennete McCurdy said he loved him in the KCA 2011) goes to help his friend "Doc" Emmet Brown with his latest experiment: a time machine. But not any time machine, a super cool and awesome DeLorean that uses the Flux Capacitor to travel through time, and by the way, it needs 1.21 GWatts of power to travel trough time. No only that, its licence plate is the coolest one in whole world: OUTATIME.
Consider watching it, no, just kidding, WATCH IT.

And that is it, my favorite movies in one epic list.
So folks, that was the first part, now moving on to...

The Supah-Dupah in-the-house-f*cking-awesome Triple Post: Part II

So, as I can see, last week's topic was "Eating weird stuff". For some reason that topic does not go on well with me, and I will talk about it in a different way.

So the topic:
Eating Weird Stuff

I have not mentioned it yet, but I will tell you: I do not tend to like different types of food. I love eating, if it would be for me, I would eat all day, but wait,      I can't. It is not that I would eat all day long, but I mean I would eat a lot of cookies. I love cookies, cookies, and more cookies. And I know, that's not weird, but what makes it weird is that I can eat cookies anytime. I don't care if I am sick in bed, I would accept a pack of cookies.
Apart from that, I can go to a simple conclusion that would make me enter the topic in a weird to understandable way. "Weird stuff" could be understood in different ways, and I understand it as stuff which is not very common, sort of rare.
Following that, I eat "weird stuff" every once in a while. That "weird stuff" is mainly things that I do not like very much. Anyway, I will close this topic now, so that I don't enter the topic of eating crawling stuff.

Something else that I would of talked that week if I posted on time is how I write my posts. I get home, turn on my laptop and start writing, I finish when it's time to go to bed. But no, I am not stuck here writing, in the meanwhile as I "write", I listen to music, play some games, make some jokes to my brother and eat some cookies (if I haven't ate them all already). It is funny because I do not understand how I do it. Suddenly I remember I was writing and I continue, but then see a fly going around and get distracted and do something else. I don't believe that I don't have ADD.

I believe that's everything for that week, but wait, there is still the third part to go...
The Supah-Dupah in-the-house-f*cking-awesome Triple Post: Part III

So people, welcome to part 3. Getting here means you have spent a while reading, congratulations, you have reached this post's final stage, but, can you beat it?

Alright, as you might know, April Fool's was last week, and, I would like to say that I really like to make jokes, but I sort of forgot of that day, so I couldn't eventually do any great jokes. Sorry folks, maybe next time. Last week was also an extremely important day: 28th of March 2011, my PS3 has arrived home. By the way, that was the reason I did not post last week, I was allowed to play on Tuesday and, sorry but, CoD Modern Warfare 2 and Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit seem quite more awesome than this blog. But not for you, dear reader, since you are reading this and will continue and not got play PS3.

So this week's topic is...
Presidential elections, what about them?

Let me answer to you that question with an example: Get 5 starving polar bears, throw a juicy colossal piece of meat in between them and see them fight to death. F*ck the elections, I would rather draw poop and cross that rather than voting for any of those (my other option is PPK, which I believe is the only one capable of being the president). Viva la derecha, que se pudra la izquierda. Long live capitalism! Ollanta and his friend Chavez can go to hell.

Thanks for reading this entry, CYA next week on Tuesday.
Hc, have a nice day.

Remember... I rulz!

PS: Started at 4:00 pm, it is now 9:09 pm.

I'm kinda late...

Hi there!
Before saying (writing?) anything more I think it'd be right if I apologize for not making entries the past weeks. ;u; I've been sick to death (and last week I was catching up with some work.)

It's me, the Monday person. Name's Alex and I'm your friendly neighbourhood satanist 8D (no, I don't sacrifice animals and/or people, those are lies, LIES I SAY D:< ).
Probably the kind of person you would see wearing dark clothes in summer and plugged to an mp4 hearing to Metallica's "Kill 'Em All" album.

But don't be deceived by this statements, my dear readers, because deep inside I am a quite good (human?) being (even though Mr. Hulk Carlos might tell you otherwise... ¬¬)

I also like little kitties. C:

Anyway, this week's subject will be Presidential Elections.

During the last 3 months or so the candidates applying for the Presidence of Peru have been fighting to get the highest score in the polls. In my opinion they somehow look like a bunch of dogs trying to get a bite off a piece of meat. Some of them trying to trick the owner into giving it to them while others sneaking from behind and attempting to steal from it. (yeah it is a motherf*cking extended metaphor, deal with it).

You know, I'm not too much into politics, but there is one thing I know. The advertisement, propaganda and giant banners for the campaign are pissing me off. Every time I go out I see at least five of them, and I'm not exaggerating. I am completely aware that this is a really important moment for my country and whatnot, but please, I am begging the candidates now, please don't pollute our city with your goddamned banners.
I'll be more than happy when all of this reaches an end though I still have high hopes that our faithful PPKuy will win the elections. =u=

I am more than happy of finally writing an entry (short entry is short) :) and hopefully we'll meet again next Monday. *falls asleep on top of keyboard*

A post a week late...

10) Easy A:
"I've got a pocket, got a pocketful of sunshine..." This movie was simply hilarious!! I laughed out loud (LOL) during all the movie!!  I loved Olive's boyfriend, he was so cute<3

9)Romeo and Juliet
I'm an old style girl :) I can't help loving Romeo!! If only guys like him existed!! I know that there is a new version with Leonardo DiCaprio but it's not the same thing :/ they totally loose Shakespear's charming language :(

8)Bride wars
I can't believed I cried in a comedy!! This is the movie you just HAVE to see with your best friend. Right Nicolle?? Guess who I saw this movie with? My mother! Well I still loved it and I recommend it :)

7) Up
Best animation movie evar!! I knew i would love it from the moment i saw the trailler. That little boy was sooo adorable!! I want to hug him and give him chocolate!! Even 2 weeks after seeing the movie, my bff and me continued saying the quotes. Hehehe
PS: I also cried in this movie

6)Bridge to Terabithia
Anyone that has lost a friend will cry their eyes out in this movie... I guess that you probably will even if you haven't :S. Hey readers, have you realized that my favourite are  the ones i cry on? Hahaha Well, this movie was the  one I saw first from my top 10 and I think my mother was really close on turning off the tv and the dvd because i was crying so much :/. Don't blame me, I was small and veeery sensible!

5)Moulin rouge
I really don't know how my sister gave me permission to see this movie like 2 years ago
heeheee. It is about a girl that is a dancer and agrees to sleep with a rich ugly guy so that the club she works in becomes a theatre. However, she falls in love with a sweet, poor song writer that would risk EVERYTHING for her. Here comes a spoiler: someone dies.. see the movie if you want to find out who that was  :D

4) Penelope
Can you believe i didn't cry in this movie??? It became my favourite movie the second I saw it :) (like 3 years ago) It is about a girl that was born with a pig's nose due to a curse set on one of her ancestor's. The curse was that she would have the pig nose until someone o her own kind accepted her the way she was. Therefore, she lived all her lived trapped in a house!! and the only ones allowed inside were the possible husbands that had to have blue blood. It taught me a lot about self steam, if you can't love yourself then how do you expect someone to love you??

3)A walk to remember
If you haven't yet realized how romantic i am, well this will prove it. A walk to remember. If i explained the title i would ruin the book and the movie for the readers of this blog (the writers of this blog and Nicolle). When i saw this movie I cried 5 times!! I think i have never cried so much in a movie. Every time I stopped crying, I just started crying again... The one prove that a guy actually loves me and that he does not care at all about appearances is watching this movie with me because let me tell you, when i cry i am a complete mess. My eyes get red and big and i can't stop crying.

2) The Notebook
I don't know why i didn't cry much while watching this movie because after watching this film i felt something no one or nothing, especially not a movie, had ever made me feel. Completely heart broken. I really don't know how a movie could do this :S. I blame Nicholas Sparks! He wrote "The notebook" and "A walk to remember". Does he want girls to cry until they are dry?? I really don't know but that is the effect he had on me when i read "A walk to remember".

1)Flipped
Definitely the best movie I've ever seen :D It's about two teenagers in the 50's and they experience love for first time :). I guess part of what makes this movie the best is the fact that they change narrator from the sweet, smart, funny girl to the jerk but sweet at the same boy. At first, the girl looks into the boy's eyes and experiences love at first sight. For many years, she tries to be his friend while he is a jerk to her. In the last part of the movie, he realizes that the girl rocks and the girl realizes the boy is a jerk. That (and the change of narrator thing) is why it's called "Flipped"

This week's theme: EATING WEIRD STUFF!!

When I was like 8 years old, one of my father's friends went to the jungle and brought my father a bag of cheddar worms. These things were little CLEAN bugs fried with cheddar cheese. I know it sounds disgusting but it didn't taste bad at all. It just tasted like cheddar cheese :O :O. At first i wouldn't try it but then i thought about how i might regret not trying something so weird in the future.
Well readers, this is my longest entry so far :)

viernes, 25 de marzo de 2011

Everyone is fucking late... so I'm just gonna post my blog on time and screw them.

Hey... well as you can see from the title, wednesday and thursday are late because they're asses. Today I'm a bit sick and in bed, so I didn't go to school. I just happened to wake up, and I decided to write my blog, when I suddenly saw there were no posts since tuesday, and i was like... FUCK THESE PEOPLE, I'M POSTING MY ENTRY ON MY DAY AND THE CAN GO FUCK THEMSELVES!! Ha, i feel mean for saying that.
Anyways, I have some weird ear infection and nausia here and there, but the real reason that I didn't go to school is because I didn't finish my math homework so I said Screw this! and I pretended to be sick in the morning... turns out that when the doctor came, I was actually sick! Lol.

Now for the subject: best movies ever...

agh fuck the subject. I don't have favourite movies. I just go with romantic comedies, romantic tragedies and horror movies... and comedies. :) i like to laugh :B

I guess I should put down some examples...

Horror: The Shining!!!!! :)  Wolf (Jack Nicholson Version), Gothica (Hallie Berry), 13 Ghosts, Van Helsing, Sleepy Hollow, The Underworld Triloagy... ahaha there are so many good horror movies :)

As for romantic comedy: Love and other drugs, Bride wars, How do you know (reese witherspoon, owen wilson, jack nicholson), and, my favourite, Going the distance :) ... and a lot of others, i just forgot the names.

Comedy: most of the comedies i love are cartoons, like Megamind and  Over the Hedge... most epic cartoon movies EVER!! I also love Ema Stone movies like Zombie Land and Easy A.

Romantic Tragedy: one name: Nicholas Sparks: writer of A walk to remember, dear john, and so many other romantically heart-breaking books that become movies in a flash. I love romantic tragedies. Another tragic, but not romantic movie that I love and makes me cry every time is Bridge to Terabithia. If you've seen it, you know what I'm talking about.

Other movies I really like include Inception, the Charlies Angels movies, Sherlock Holmes (Robert Downing).

Well, I'm feeling sickly again, so I'll leave this block with a big FUCK YOU and take care of yourselves, readers. :)
